The 2.0-liter makes up to 159 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque. The other engine option also features variable valve timing and is a 3.5-liter V-6 direct-injection Atkinson cycle engine. The V-6 produces up to 278 horsepower and 265 pound-feet of torque.
Performance
The Tacoma offers several features to make it more performant, starting with a four-wheel-drive system featuring an electronically controlled transfer case and an automatic limited-slip differential.
