Trim Levels (Exterior)
Six trim levels are available for the 2021 Toyota Tundra: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum,1794 Edition, and the premium TRD Pro. The base SR offers halogen headlights, black heated mirrors, and 18-inch styledwheels. Moving up to the SR5 adds front and rear mudguards, a gray grille with chrome surround, and an easy lower/lift tailgate. Opt for the Limited upgrades to include 20-inch five-spoke wheels, a silver grille with chrome surround, chrome TUNDRA badging, and chrome heated mirrors.
The Platinum upgrades those 20-inch wheels to premium and adds LED headlights with level control and a black honeycomb grille. Moving up to the 1794 Edition adds exclusive badging and a deck rail system. Finally, the TRD Pro features black badging, Rigid Industries fog lights, and 18-inch BBS black wheels.
Engine (Power)
A singular engine option powers all trims of the 2021 Toyota Tundra, and it's a 5.7-liter i-FORCE V-8 engine featuring dual independent variable timing and acoustic control induction system. The i-FORCE engine makes up to 381 horsepower and 401 pound-feet of torque. It's paired with a six-speed electronically controlled transmission with advanced uphill/downhill shift logic and sequential shift mode to improve fuel economy.
Performance
A truck needs to perform regardless of the road or environmental conditions, and the Tundra offers many options to do just that. Rear-wheel drive with automatic limited-slip differential is standard on all trims except the TRD Pro, which has a four-wheel drive system that comes standard with active traction control and limited-slip differential. Vehicle stability control, anti-lock braking system, and traction control help you maintain control regardless of conditions. With up to 10,2000 pounds towing capacity, integrated trailer brake controller, and trailer sway control, you can haul whatever gear, toys, or campers you need.
Interior
The interior of the 2021 Tundra features a perfect blend of technology, comfort, and functionality. Standard on the SR and up is a7-inch touch screen with integrated Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and seating for six with comfortable fabric. On the SR5, you'll find upgrades such as an 8-inch touch screen and an Audio Plus System with advanced voice recognition. Upgrading to the Limited adds a rear under-seat storage compartment and dynamic navigation system. The 1794 Edition features a woodgrain-style insert shift lever. The TRD Pro adds cool features such as black TRD leather seats with red contrast stitching.
