Trim Levels (Exterior)
Two trim levels are available for the 2022 Toyota Mirai: XLE and Limited. The XLE features heated outside mirrors, LED taillights, daytime running lights, LED headlights, and 19-inch twin-spoke aluminum alloy wheels. Keyless entry is also standard, making entering your car even more convenient. Moving up to the limited gives you automatic wipers, a panoramic sunroof, and upgraded 19-inch black machined-finish aluminum alloy wheels.
Engine (Power)
There's technically no engine within the 2022 Toyota Marai. Instead, it's powered by the Toyota Fuel Cell System (TFCS), a polymer electrolyte fuel cell with a max power output of 128 kWh. There are 330 fuel cells in all, fueled by three type-4 hydrogen tanks filled with high-pressure, up to 10,000 psi, hydrogen gas. Each tank can hold 5.6kg of hydrogen gas and takes about five minutes to refuel, substantially less than an electric vehicle. There's also a lithium-ion drive battery charged in part by a regenerative braking system.
Performance
While being environmentally conscious and looking to drive a vehicle that virtually eliminates emissions is admirable, you still want excellent performance. The Mirai does not sacrifice this and offers features that make it fun to drive. For example, the rear-wheel-drive system provides a sports car feel when navigating corners and windy roads. You'll also find several different drive modes that allow you to customize your driving experience to your preference or to match conditions.
Interior
