2023 Toyota Crown

Three trim levels are available for 2023: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Color options for all trims include Black, Magnetic Gray Metallic, Oxygen White, Heavy Metal, and Supersonic Red. The XLE and Limited trim levels come with 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels. Optional four bi-tone exterior paint colors and 21-inch, 10-spoke alloy wheels with black accents help set the Platinum trim apart.

All trim levels include heated power outside mirrors with turn signal and blind spot warning indicators, an acoustic noise-reducing windshield, LED taillights, LED daytime running lights, and color-keyed outside door handles with touch-sensor locking and unlocking features.

The XLE and Limited trims feature a hybrid powertrain that pairs a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine, three electric motors, and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) with an output of 236 horsepower.

Toyota gives the top Platinum trim a turbocharged 2.4-liter four-cylinder with an electric motor on the rear axle for a combined 340 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. This all-new Hybrid Max system on the Platinum trim uses a six-speed automatic for handling control.

Toyota fits the Platinum model with adaptive suspension dampers to give you a choice between a sporty and comfortable driving experience. This improves handling, provides a relaxing drive, and the suspension helps control the weight well.

All-wheel drive is standard on all trim levels and improves traction. The powerful Platinum trim's electrified powertrain speeds up to 60 miles per hour in 5.7 seconds, and lower trim levels reach 60 mph in 7.6 seconds.

The premium interior design of the 2023 Crown maximizes your enjoyment with dual-zone automatic climate control, eight-way power-adjustable front seats plus heat, ambient interior lighting, a leather shift knob, and a 15.2-foot trunk volume. Cabin features for the Limited and Platinum trims include a panoramic sunroof, leather upholstery, ventilated front seats, heated rear seats, keyless entry, and push-button start.

Inside all trims is a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen featuring Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and wireless smartphone connections. Toyota provides additional luxury details such as a wireless charging pad, onboard Wi-Fi, and USB-C ports. The XLE trim includes a six-speaker stereo, and the Limited and Platinum models have an 11-speaker JBL stereo instead. The driver enjoys a second 12.3-inch display with digital gauges.

Safety is a core value of Toyota, and the 2023 Crown includes an impressive lineup of safety features. It equips all models with the Toyota Safety Sense 3.0 suite of driving aids, which includes adaptive cruise control, lane departure alert with steering assist, lane tracing assist, automatic high beams, and road sign assist.

Other standard features include collision sensors, eight airbags, and a collapsible steering column. The Platinum model features an automated parking system.
