Engine Performance

The Sequoia's combination of a twin-turbo and electric motor is more powerful and fuel-efficient than the outgoing V-8. This new i-Force Max hybrid system and the 3.5-liter V-6 produce 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque. It can tow more, too: up to 9,520 pounds. The Chevy's base V-8 delivers plenty of power, but it can't match the Toyota at the pump or its towing prowess.

Interior Design

The third-generation Sequoia offers so much more than its predecessor — enough to outclass the Tahoe. Its upscale, three-row cabin features an all-new infotainment system with an available 14-inch display. The Tahoe's cabin is modern and well-built. However, it just doesn't match the quality of the Toyota, and you won't be able to get the large touchscreen that comes with the Sequoia.

Safety Features

An important component of top family haulers is safety features. The all-new Sequoia offers a full suite of standard driver-assistance features, from adaptive cruise control to blind spot monitoring. The Tahoe also offers a nice array of safety features, and you can opt for additional protections if it's in your budget.

Head to your neighborhood Toyota dealership today, and test drive a redesigned Sequoia. From its 10-year or 150,000-mile warranty to the new i-Force Max hybrid system, there's a lot to like about this SUV.
