The 2023 Toyota Tundra is an agile, off-road-capable pickup truck with uncompromising power, premium equipment, and advanced capability features. For 2023, Toyota offers the Tundra in a double cab and can equip these models with a 6.5-foot bed or an 8.1-foot option. It also presents a larger crew cab, which can accommodate more passengers and has a standard 5.5-foot bed or a longer 6.5-foot bed. Trim Levels (Exterior)
This Tundra generation has a stealth look with a boxed ladder frame and a bonus dent-resistant composite bed, which saves you from the additional cost of an expensive bed liner. The 2023 Toyota Tundra has two new color options: the fan-favorite Lunar Rock color, a light green with silver or gray tones, and Wind Chill Pearl, a shimmery off-white with a pearl tone.
Seven trim levels are available: SR, SR5, Limited, Platinum, 1974 Edition, TRD Pro, and Capstone. Only the double cab SR5 model has the new SX package option, which includes an enigmatic all-black look with body-color-matching door handles and bumper inserts, blacked-out badges to the Tundra's exterior, and dark gray 18-inch wheels. The TRD Sport trim includes 20-inch wheels, and the Capstone comes with 22-inch wheels.
Engine (Power)
The Tundra's rugged body matches its robust new V6 engine. All trims have a twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 engine with a starting output of 389 horsepower and 479 pound-feet of torque. A hybrid i-Force Max version with an adventurous output of 437 horsepower and 583 pound-feet of torque is standard for the TRD Pro and Capstone trims and optional for the Limited, Platinum, and 174 edition. The engines boast a smooth-shifting 10-speed automatic rear-wheel drive transmission, and you can equip the TRD Pro and Capstone with a four-wheel drive.
Performance
A coil-spring rear suspension transformed the 2023 Toyota Tundra into a smooth, composed drive with responsive steering. The TRD 4x4 can blaze a trail off-road, allowing it to handle extreme loads and many environmental conditions without compromising performance. This pickup truck helps you haul with confidence. It has a massive towing capacity of up to 12,000 pounds and a maximum payload capacity of 1,940 pounds.
Interior
Luxury features inside the 2023 Toyota Tundra include dual-zone automatic climate control, a heated leather-wrapped steering wheel, heated and ventilated front and rear seats, leather upholstery, push-button start, power heated side-view mirrors, LED headlights, LED taillights, and a cab-mounted LED cargo light. Key features include adaptive cruise control, automatic high beams, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot monitoring, roadside assist, and automated emergency braking. All Tundra variants have eight airbags.
