If you want delivery food here in Annapolis, MD, you’ll be spoiled for choice. A range of different venues covers just about every cuisine you could imagine. Here are 5 of our favorite delivery restaurants in and about the town.
1. Tarin Thai Cusine
Tarin Thai Cusine is a fantastic option for afternoon or evening. The menu of authentic Thai dishes serves up everything from salad and soups to curries and noodles.
Our top picks? First off, we recommend the papaya salad. Follow that up with the house special, the very spicy Tarin’s Tilapia. They also do a great classic Pad Thai. Really, you can’t go wrong ordering here; all the food is delicious.
2. Vin 909 Winecafe
Vin 909 Winecafe is one of the most popular places to gather in town, but it’s a great place for take-out too. This is a nice option if you’re after an alternative to the standard take-out classics. Vin 909’s European dishes are all organic and sourced locally where possible.
The menu is almost overwhelming here, with so many dishes to choose from. We often go for the dry-aged beef sliders or the charred clams. But there’s a range of other delicious choices, including drinks and desserts, to add to your take-out order.
3. Chris’s Charcoal Pit
Chris’s Charcoal Pit specializes in Greek, American, and Italian food. So there’s definitely something for everyone here. They have a great range of small bites and appetizers, including fried calamari, zucchini sticks, and delicious Greek potato skins.
Whether you order for lunch or dinner, you’re covered. The rest of the menu features a range of subs, platters, and Italian specialties. There are plenty of veggie options and a selection of cakes on offer for dessert, too.
4. Rocco’s Pizzeria
What list of take-out restaurants would be complete without a pizza place? So here’s our favorite one in town- Rocco’s. Order here for the best pizza and garlic bread you’ve ever tried.
This locally-owned venue prepares everything fresh and uses authentic deck ovens. Their commitment to quality has earned them a bunch of awards and a reputation as the best pizza around.
5. The Canton Restaurant
Talk about a place with history, The Canton Restaurant has been going strong since 1960 and has passed between 2 generations. For a long time, this was the only Chinese restaurant in town. We hope it’ll be around for another 60 years too, as it’s still the best Chinese take-out food we know.
If you like your seafood, we highly recommend one of the many dishes they offer with lobster meat. Especially the Triple Crown, which adds chicken and roast pork into the mix, too. Absolutely delicious.
