The Venza is available in three models the LE, XLE, and Limited. All three are equipped with a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine with electric motors in the front and rear that, when combined, offer 219 horsepower. All-wheel drive that feels effortless comes standard in the Venza and with EV mode the car is able to go electric-only for a limited amount of time.
Mechanics are just one part of the Venza’s story. Inside the 5-passenger crossover, drivers will find an 8” touchscreen infotainment center, a 4.2” inch multi-information display with customizable settings, a climate control system with dust and pollen filters, and a six-speaker audio system to name just a few amenities. The rear 60/40 split seat can be folded flat to take the cargo space from 28.8 cubic feet to 55.1 cubic feet.
Unique Features
Safety doesn’t take a backseat to comfort and style in the Venza thanks to the Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 bundle. Standard on all models, this bundle includes a pre-collision system that can detect pedestrians, automated high beams, an alert system for lane departure, road sign and lane tracing assist and cruise control that uses the distance between cars to adjust the speed of the vehicle.
These features are in addition to the vehicle proximity notification system, eight airbags, and blind spot monitor.
The Venza has 3 drive modes in addition to the EV mode referenced earlier: Sport, Eco, and Normal. Sport mode puts a little pep in the vehicle’s step while Eco prioritizes fuel economy. Speaking of fuel economy, the Venza surpasses many of the popular crossover hybrids hitting 40 MPG in the city and 37 MPG on the highway for a combined 39 MPG.
Design
While looks aren’t everything, the sleek design of the Venza offers a feeling of luxury along with LED headlights and taillights, multi-layer gray and chrome front grille, and a black rear spoiler. The convenience of the Smart Key System adds an additional level of functionality. This smooth ride rests on 18-inch alloy wheels on the LE model versus the 19-inch Super Chrome finished alloy wheels found on the XLE and Limited models.
Upgraded Features
For added convenience and luxury, the Limited model comes with a digital rearview mirror with HomeLink, a backup camera washer, heated 3-spoke steering wheel, ventilated and heated front seats, and a bird’s eye view camera. That’s in addition to the 12.3” infotainment console and premium JBL audio system that features nine speakers!
